So sorry to hear of Papa Jack's passing, but I am looking forward to spending eternity with him in heaven. I met him in 1990 and knew him for 20 years. He was a cool old guy with a whole lot of just plain common sense who never minced words or hid his true feelings on any subject - I always knew where I stood with him and I knew I could count on his sage advice when needed. He gave me his old chainsaw years ago and I've cut over 50 cords of firewood with it since and always think of him as it's tearing through a big old log. They don't make them like Papa Jack anymore -he will be missed.

Hello pastor Jack ,I am just finding out about papa Jack ,I remember asking permission from his Beautiful wife who so kindly allow me to follow her home on a Sunday afternoon to pray for him, man of great faith, always smiling and would always take the time to talk with you .I am so happy to have known him, I send today my heartfelt love and sympathy to the family .I know what you are going through, I recently buried my mother, but the Lord will see you all through ,love you all and will keep you in my prayers, thank you for the time I spent there at the river was a blessing. I first met Jack when he worked at the Burien Post Office. Always scooted into his waiting line to converse with the delightful gentleman, who
had such a positive outlookon life.Little did we know we would play banjo together with Tacoma Banjo.Jack was a fabulous musician,
and a sensitive gentleman. Love to Patty and the entire family. Losing Jack has left a big hole in
our hearts.
