I'm so sorry to learn of Lee's death. As a former teacher, I was always pleased to hear of Lee's work in making independent films. He was a talented individual. My prayers to his family.

I have many special recent memories of Lee, especially his adventures with Little Jack and his Facebook post but the one that always will come to mind will be when Lee, Heather and Ross came to visit their cousins Matt, Carl and Sarah and me after we moved to Louisville. Lee was around Little Jack's age and didn't have diabetes. The first night he was extra hyped, probably missed his parents and baby sister Jenna. It was late around 2 pm everyone was asleep but us. In desperation and extremely tired, I inflated a big hard rubber yellow and blue boat put two pillows and a blanket in the hull and he jumped in, and the two of us slept there that night. Even as a youngster he loved an adventure and was totally unpredictable. He will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers will be with family and friends always.
