Jack Medlin Obituary
Greenville
Jack Columbus Medlin, 82, husband of 59 years to Daisy Davis Medlin, of Greenville, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014.
Mr. Medlin was a son of the late John Columbus and Angie Mozelle McKinney Medlin.
Jack was a retired Master Electrician at Armin Plastics. Mr. Medlin was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church and has served as a deacon and taught Sunday school for 40 years.
Along with his wife, Daisy, Mr. Medlin is survived by children: Jackie Coons (Robert), Danny Medlin (Theresa), and Tammy Elkins (Joe); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister Angie Catalino.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cindy and Elaine along with Open Arms Hospice for their wonderful love and dedication shown to Jack.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W Georgia Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680 or Unity Baptist Church,
12 Piney Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
The family will be at the residence.
