Dear Ella. I was so sorry to hear about Jack's passing from Kimbra Long. You two have been so dear to our hearts and I can't imagine how difficult this will be for you without him by your side. I always enjoyed receiving his e-mails. They were always upbeat, no matter the circumstances. Just saying his name makes me smile. A very precious man. You'll be in our prayers. Much love

I have memories of Mr Sailor from when you moved to 'Port to study and spending time with the family. He was a Godly man and will be missed by many. May your good memories of times shared be a comfort to you. God Bless

We loved having Jack & Ella as neighbors in Elbow and had the utmost respect for them. Jack's love for Ella & family was most apparent. He was a man who walked his talk. We enjoyed his teachings that he shared. We will remember this wonderful man, so kind, so honest, so loving.

Condolences to Ella and the family. Jack was a great man and while he will be missed by all that knew him, he will be ever present in our lives because of the life he lived… His honesty and giving nature raised the bar and set an example for us to aspire to… A Loving Husband, a nurturing Father, and a great Friend that was always there to help anyone in need. Jack was greatly loved and while we will all miss him, he will never be forgotten… Ray Hargrove

Dear Ella & Family: How I cherish the memories of you and Jack, from courtship days, fellowship together at Faith Baptist, your shared life of faith and ministry in the North, and your continuing testimony to God's faithfulness to this point. May God's loving, caring presence minister to your every need in the days to come. With gratitude to God for Jack's legacy, Verna Peter

Ella, I know you rejoice with Jack and miss him here with you. Our hearts are with you and all your precious family.
I just wanted to share my major memory of Jack (only one when there are so many!). My favorite is his eyes, Jack had the kindest most compassionate eyes I have ever known, he would always let me know that he was praying for us, and I always knew he covered us in prayer. He was a godly man who never had to say, although he did, that he loved Jesus, because he lived it out load. I will always treasure these in my heart.

With great sadness hearing of Jacks passing. Our thoughts and prayers with Ella and family. To a man who exemplified his faith and truly loved his neighbour. The kind of guy who stayed up all night to help his sons' friend(me) rebuild his transmission. Our kids learned from him what real 'Moose Kisses' are all about, and they will never forget. A great legacy!
