Jack Voiles Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 17, 2025.
Jack Monroe Voiles, beloved husband, devoted father, and respected community member, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born on August 15, 1942, to James Monroe and Mary Kate Voiles, Jack grew up with a strong foundation of faith, family, and integrity. He graduated from Jefferson County High School and went on to earn his degree from Carson-Newman University. A proud patriot, Jack served his country in both the National Guard and the United States Naval Reserves.

On July 2, 1966, Jack married the love of his life and college sweetheart, Judy Ann Brown. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they raised two children, Doug and Marianne, who were the joy of Jack's life.

A skilled and principled certified public accountant, Jack was a founding member of Voiles & Company CPAs, where he earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike for his dedication, wisdom, and honesty.

Jack's faith was central to his life. Since 1971, he was a devoted member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, where he served faithfully as both a deacon and elder. He also generously gave his time as a past board member of the Christian Academy of Knoxville, continuing his commitment to faith-based education and service.

Jack is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy; children, Doug Voiles (Lea Ann) and Marianne Voiles; granddaughter, Rachel.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 3pm at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church with a Celebration of Jack's life to follow at 4pm.
