Jack Welch Obituary
Mr. Jack Riley Welch, Jr. 61, died Friday, October 27, 2017 at Wesley Long Hospital with his family by his side.
Jack was born February 15, 1956 in Guilford County a son, to Jack Riley Welch, Sr. and the late, Ruth Goins Welch. He was a native of Trinity and a graduate of Trinity High School class of 74 and married Sharon Hill Welch in 1976. Jack spent 40 plus years in the automotive industry. He was a lifetime member of Southside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; a daughter, Melissa Weaver of Trinity; a son, Scott Welch of Greenville, NC; his father, Jack Riley Welch, Sr. of Trinity; a brother, Lindsay Welch of Trinity; six grandchildren, Austin, Jonathon, and Harrison Weaver, Kristina Lowder, Kaytlin and Griffin Welch; a special cousin, Glenda Siegner and a host of extended family member that love him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held 3 PM, Saturday at Joy Community Fellowship (formerly Southside Baptist Church) 2515 Bellemeade St. High Point, NC, November 4th with Pastor Taylor Humphrey and Pastor Steve Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Archdale at PO Box 4400 Archdale NC 27263 or to Hospice of the Piedmont 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC 27262.

Sharon I was so shocked to hear about Jack. Last time I talked to you he was doing so well. God felt it was time Jack come and get his new body and release him from his pain. Take comfort that he will be at the gates waiting for you when God calls you home. I pray for you and your family that God will help you through this. I love you girl.
