Jackie Dale Grinder Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 23, 2024.
Jackie (Jack) Dale Grinder, 81 sadly left our world on July 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Jack had been a resident of Loomis for over 50 years. He retired from JR Roberts Construction in 2007, where he earned an award from the State of California for his work on the Rivercats Stadium, serving as the Superintendent of the project.

During his retirement, Jack enjoyed life on his ranch, camping, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Secoy; father, Clyde Grinder; and sister Pat Johnson. Jack is survived by his two children, Kim LaMar (Jim) and Jack Grinder Jr. (Julie); grandchildren Kayla Quezada, Karly Intelisano, and Dakota Barkhurst; great-grandchildren, Theodore, Finnegan, Atticus, Ember, and Henry; siblings Fred Grinder, Derald Grinder, and Dandra Taggart; and his partner Faith McGuire.

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at the Newcastle-Rocklin-Gold Hill Cemetery on August 9, 2024 at 1pm. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life gathering at 2:30pm at The Blue Goose in Loomis. We invite all who cherished his presence to gather with us in honoring the memory of a man whose love and impact will forever be remembered.

I remember Jack from a project we worked on back in early 80s. I´m surprised I can remember. I only knew him from that job. And I remember he was a good man. I wish I had known him better. My condolences to his family.
