MONAGHAN (nee Geraghty) Jackie and Baby Jack Devlane, Clogher, Belmullet Rest in Peace We, Jackie's husband Henry, their children Áine and Patrick along with the Geraghty and Monaghan families wish to sincerely extend our thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our sudden and devastating loss. We are overwhelmed by the wave of support by all those who called to our homes, attended the funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards and enrolments and by those who travelled long distances. To our neighbours, friends and extended families we offer our heartfelt thanks for all the support we were given in so many ways; not least by those who brought food and refreshments to the house. Thank you to the emergency services who attended Jackie and to the Garda Siochána from both Belmullet and Bunnyconlon branches for your assistance on Bank Holiday Monday and for the provision of their services on Jackie and Jack's final journey through our community. Many thanks to all those involved in the Guard of Honour - Eachléim National School, Sheila Moffatt's School of Irish Dancing, North Mayo Harriers and Kilmore Football Club. To Fr Kevin Hegarty for his spiritual support, for the special baptismal ceremony for Baby Jack and the beautiful funeral Mass. Thank you to Fr Michael Reilly who attended on Bank Holiday Monday and for concelebrating the funeral Mass with Fr John Loftus, Fr JG McHale, Fr Munnelly, Fr Noone and Fr Liam Reilly. To Mary Mills and her daughter Marian whose music and beautiful singing enhanced the funeral Mass. Thank you to Mairead Monaghan, Shelley Reilly, Anne- Frances Lavelle and the O'Grady Horse and Hearse Carriage Company for making Jackie and Jack's journey to their final resting place so special and unique. A special thank you to the grave diggers and all those who arranged Jackie and Jack's final resting place in such a beautiful way. To Jason - Jackie's cousin who sang at the graveside, we are so grateful. A special thank you to Padraig and Sean Conroy and all the staff at McDonnell's Undertakers - your professionalism and expertise delievered with sincerity and kindness helped to guide, and helped us to say goodbye to Jackie and Jack in the manner they deserved. Thank you to Rose and James Cormack, Cuan Ósta, Drum for providing refreshments after the funeral. Finally we would like to thank all acts of kindness and generosity which we have witnessed and benefitted from individually. It is impossible to name everyone individually so we hope this acknowldedgement conveys our deepest gratitude and thanks to all who were and remain so kind and supportive to us in our our most difficult time. Month's Mind Mass for Jackie and Baby Jack will be celebrated on Saturday, 6th September 2014 in St Brendan's Church, Tirrane at 6.30pm.
