Jackie Stringer Obituary
He was married to Judy Stringer for 55 years. Jack had a career in engineering for Universal Ensco and F.H. Maloney. He was a member of Texas Society of Professional Engineers and had diverse interests in history, science, and literature.
He was preceded in death by his parents (Hazel and Barkley Stringer), brother (Bill Stringer), and sister (Jo-An Furlow).
He is survived by wife, Judy; daughter, Lisa and husband Tom DuBrock; daughter, Kimberly and husband Bryan Jones; grandsons Brandon, Nicholas, David and Travis DuBrock, and Cody Jones; granddaughters Kaylin and Karly Jones; brother Tommie and wife Jackie, brother-in-law Ric Coats; and numerous dear friends and relatives.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13 from 1:00-2:00pm at South Main Baptist Church located at 4300 E Sam Houston Parkway with a Celebration of Jackie's life beginning at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.

I worked with you during my time a Universal Ensco and just learned of your passing, your name just popped into my head today and I was going to reach out to you. Working with taught me a lot about Engineering and I remember your patience, understanding, and your technical ability. So sorry to loose you.
