It's been almost 14 years since dad left us to go be with his Saviour, Jesus Christ. We have missed him every day. Carl has been living with and taking care of mom. Her journey here on earth is coming to an end, any day it seems. She has faithfully loved dad and missed his presence since his home going. We, their 4 children are praying for Father God's mercy to touch our mother and show her the way as she departs this earthly life and takes up her robes in a glorious homegoing. Lord Jesus please give her assurance that when you call, she needs to run to you, never looking back, only forward to the glories of her place with you and The Heavenly Father. This is our prayer, in The name of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen

Almost 6 years ago, Jerry, Don, Barbara and Carl transferred their patriarch to Heaven. He was a man I could talk to who had wisdom and a story to tell. We miss him greatly. Mrs. Driggers is still with us. God bless her and all of the family. Nov. 3, 2013 will forever be a day for us to remember.

Uncle Jake brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. Not by blood but through Christ he was FAMILY. We spoke of him often of the love and happiness he brought to others(a gift given by God). Along with you we are sadden... but yet we rejoice because he is with our Heavenly Father he spoke of so often. Love and prayers to all of you.

As I reflect back on 42+ years of knowing Mr. Driggers, I have loved him from the day I met him and so thankful that he welcomed me into his family as his #2 son Jerry's wife. The years have been great for us together and I will miss him tremendously. I will forever remember our fun times together and sharing times together. May God bless the family and sustain us all during this time of grief and sorrow. We know that where he has gone we should all be striving for that same goal and I pray everyone will do just that. With great love I committed him to God Thursday 11/3/2011 at 12:25 PM and look forward to seeing him again and it may be soon. His favorite daughter-in-law in South Carolina - Ann
