I remember Uncle Jack driving us through the orchards in the old jeep. That was always fun and something I looked forward to.

Continued from earlier post....(mom was Jack's oldest sister Elsie) after he got out of the Army. He worked swing shift and I would cook his dinners. I was about 14.

I learned to appreciate Jack when he married my sister Annette in 1959. Over the years numerous visits took place at several provinces where we resided and we recall numerous memories of great times at their home in Edmonds. We appreciated Jack's humorous enjoyment of life, his friendly disposition, and commitment to his wife and children. Our sincerest condolences to Annette and family during this difficult time. We anticipate stopping in later in March to visit on our return from California.
With appreciation and love,
Don & Marion

When our family visited Grandma Gross we always watched uncle Jack milk the cows. It was fun to watch him squirt the milk straight into the kitties mouths!

Jack and I use to play Jacks on their back porch in Dryden. He lived with us in Seattle after the service. Pray he is at peace.

Jack was my favorite uncle. He taught me to ride a bicycle in Ritzville and to milk a cow in Dryden. He was one of the nicest persons that I have ever known.
May God bless him and may he rest in peace.
