Jacob Larue Obituary
Cherished by his loving mom Teresa and his dad Rick(Melanie). Adored by his sister Brittany and his four legged buddies, Munchkin(his fat bastard), Mickey and Jorja. Treasured by his Papa and Grandma (Fred and Sandy Helliwell), aunts and uncles, Tanya(Jason), Holly(Keith) and Chad(Jessica). Worshipped by his cousins, Keagan, Kennedy and Albert. Remembered by his Nan (Laurette Larue), his Aunty Sue and Uncle Mitch and his cousins. Special friends Trudy, Tracy and Kenny loved Jacob like their own and know that Darrell will keep a special eye on him wherever they are. Missed by his friends who are far too many to mention including "his boys" who all know who they are.
Jacob will always be remembered for his love of life, family and friends, his funny disposition and his smirk. Jacob was passionate about hockey, sports of all kinds, long boarding, snow boarding, gaming and of course "hanging with his friends."
To all of you who know Jacob he was rarely seen without his hoody and toque or cap. In honour of Jacob feel free to wear your favourite on his day.
The celebration of his life will take place March 4, 2016 at Park Place Funeral Home in Sherwood Park at 11 AM followed by his burial at Glenwood Memorial Gardens. We will then return to Park Place for refreshments.
Forever young. Rest easy my baby. We will love and miss you forever.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to you Theresa, Rick, Melanie and Brittany. Jacob and Bailey grew fast friends meeting in hockey at the age of 5 , then classmates and became closer as the years went by. Bailey too, has a very special place in his heart for Jacob as we all do. I remember lacing up Bailey and always seeing a smile on Jacob as wide as his face could manage, sharing laughs and digs with Bailey in the dressing room. He was the life of the dressing room and is fondly remembered by all he met and touched. His life goes on through his eternal spirit and he will always have a place in our lives and and hearts. My thoughts and love go out to you, your family and 'his boys'. Xo

My heart is broken for you. Words just can not express our sadness. I haven't seen Jacob since he was very little but he was friends with my son in junior high and I have heard nothing but good things about him. Jacob sent Bailey (my son) the nicest Facebook message about a year ago when my son wanted to quit school. Jacob pleaded with Bailey to reconsider as he felt it best for him to stay in school and graduate. It was so sweet that he had such a mature attitude and cared so much for someone else that I have never forgotten about that message. Hold tight to the memories.
