Jacob Witt Obituary
Jacob John Witt, age 39, of North Riverside, passed away suddenly on December 5, 2022. Beloved son of Misty (Michael) Kosik and Christopher (Julie) Witt. Dear brother of Kyle (Lindsaye) Witt, Christopher “CJ” Witt, Brittany (Richard) Matyas and Michael (Emily) Kosik. Stepbrother of Gerald (Shannon) Erdman and Kristin (Jason) Jordan. Fond uncle of Cayden Witt and Richard Matyas, Jr. Cherished grandson of Dorothy Asplund and Jerry and Janet Kosik. Preceded in death by his grandparents Greta Adams, John Witt, William Simantel and George Asplund. Jacob is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jacob loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas, and was a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Rd (2 Blks W. of Mannheim Rd) Westchester on Friday December 16, 2022 for a memorial visitation from 3:00pm until 8:00pm. There will be a Celebration of Life chapel service at 6:30pm. My wife went to school with him. I met him once or twice. He seemed like a nice, generous, courageous human being. Our hearts go out to his family and close friends. Rest in Peace, Jacob. Sorry for your loss, he will be remembered.
