Jacque Aguilar Obituary
Jacque's early education was completed at Carrollton Elementary School followed by Carrollton High School, both located in Carrollton, Ohio. Her career was as colorful and diverse as her personality. She was the proud owner of Jacque's Calico Curl-Beauty Salon, shared her love for dance as a ballroom dance instructor, entertained many as a disc jockey and videographer, and served diligently as a customer representative for various companies.
A woman of many passions, Jacque was particularly fond of orchid and peace lily gardening, a hobby that reflected her nurturing nature and love for beauty. Crafting was another avenue where she expressed her creativity, often sharing her creations with those around her. Jacque's home was a welcoming space filled with the presence of her beloved kitties, Pia and Hershey, and the numerous plants she cared for.
Jacque's personality was as engaging as her life; she never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone, spreading her infectious joy and positivity. Her family was her pride and joy, and she never missed an opportunity to share their accomplishments and milestones.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Sam Aguilar, Sr., and her children, Abby Lynn Stone (Paul), Shera-Donne Lee, April Niccole Phelps, and Sam Aguilar, Jr. (Nicole). Jacque was a cherished grandmother to Erin McKown (Neal & Eli), Sierra Lee, Naylan Phelps, Tanner Lee, and Hunter Phelps (Katie & Allie). She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis 'Bud' and Dorothy Warden, and her brother, Joel Scott Warden.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 4-6 pm at the First Baptist Church in Bullard, Texas. Jacque's life was a testament to her loving spirit, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

I remember summer visits to Ohio to spend time with Jacque and the rest of my cousins. We always had such a great time together, but then we finished school and life happened. With us all living in different states and me moving around so much, we lost touch for a long time. Communication wasn't as easy back then and phone calls weren't in my budget. Then I reconnected with my "Ohio Cousins", as I call them, a few years ago and was really just getting to know her again along with my growing family. I'm still whirling from the news of her passing. Rest in peace sweet lady. You'll always hold a special place in my heart. Give your Uncle Bobby a HUGE hug for me. Love, hugs and blessings to my "Ohio Cousins" who I'm sure are as shocked as I am. And, of course, to Sam who I've never met. God bless you and surround you with His love, comfort, and peace.
