Jacqueline Barrett Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 4 to Jan. 5, 2023.
Jacqueline Margaret Barrett (Fenisyn) passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at the age of 85 years. Jackie was the beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Barrett and loving mother of Patrick (Donna) Barrett, John (Deborah) Barrett, and Monica (Tom) Mostiler. She was the proud grandmother of William, Alex, Rebecca, and Mia Barrett, Benjamin, Max, Luke, and Grace Mostiler, and the dear sister of Jeanne (the late Jack) Vielleux.

Always the adventurer in spirit, Jackie visited multiple European countries while traveling the globe late in life, and she was able to branch out and make five different states her home before returning to her roots in Wisconsin in 2021. Her real adventure began when the Lord spoke to her, leading her to salvation and a close relationship with Him. An avid reader and a heart for gift giving, Jackie attended church and bible studies faithfully, serving as a steadfast prayer warrior and a mentor to young mothers of the church.

"One day I will dance behind the heavenly gates and no affliction shall stop me. No one can hold me back when God draws me forward. For I am His child of grace who knows Him from afar now, but I will know Him face-to-face in glory." Jacqueline M. Barrett, 2005

I only met Jackie briefly before she returned to Wisconsin but the short time I knew I found her to be kind hearted, full of laughter and had a heart for her family. She will be greatly missed here but I am sure wonderfully welcomed in Heaven. God bless
