Jacqueline Butcher Obituary
She'll be a guardian angel to all her surviving family. Her children Kathy (Jason), Philip, Margaret (Remo) Julia (Sean), Denise (Darwin), Maria (Aaron). Her siblings Rene, Nancy, Claude (Darlene), Peggy (Johnny), and her baby sister Elaine (Jim). Her grandchildren Danielle (Jonathan), Marc (Nicole), Marisa, Ashley, Jack and Declan. Her great grandchildren Ashton, Joshua, Jesse, Ryker and Emily.
Jackie made an impact on many and will be missed. She left her burdens behind, and entered her gates of Heaven. She earned her wings, she'll be shining thru the sun, the clouds and the rain. As promised she will be with each one of us protecting always, listening and answering our prayers. She will return when we need her the most for guidance as her Soul remains with us.
Family and friends are welcomed to attend visitation on Wednesday April 27th, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2000 Merrittville Hwy., Thorold, ON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Parish Community of St. Kevin, 303 Niagara Street, Welland, Ontario on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. (the service will be streamed please visit funeral home website for the link). Masks are to be worn for the services at the family's request. Jackie will be laid to rest with her Husband and two daughters at Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:30pm. There will be a celebration of life at a later date amongst family at R.B.G and in her hometown Williams Lake, BC.
The family would like to thank; from the bottom of our hearts the dedicated and hardworking staff and residents at Welland Extended Care Unit and all the staff of Welland Hospital for making it her home. Going above and beyond. Everyone she met were like family to her and she held them dear.
Donations are appreciated to the Niagara Health System Foundation for Welland Hospital, in memory of Jacqueline (Jackie) Butcher or to a charity of your choice.

I am very sorry for all your loss . Jackie is truly missed from us all in the ecu Jackie was such a joy to see and talk to daily , her laugh and smile was so contagious she just brightened up our days everytime we seen or talked to her . She was my first resident I met coming to ecu , and we hit it off right away . I loved that she made sure she was up every morning before our shift to greet us and her nurses . She just loved going into the hospital to explore and greet everyone . She loved everyone she met , always asking about my boys in excitement to hear their new life goals with James as he started driving and their progress through the teen years to fine young men as she would say I´m truly going to miss hearing her laugh and seeing her beautiful smile . But most of all I´m going to miss her prayers for us on the unit , she always prayed for us each and everyday and that truly meant so much to me . I hope your dancing and running and laughing with your loved ones up in heaven you are truly missed , rest in paradise JB u will hold a spot in our hearts forever xoxo

The joy and laughter you and your Mom shared over your phone in the mornings at your locker while you were changing for work were very telling. Your caring, thoughtful ways and attention to your Mother´s needs were an indication of what she passed on to you and your siblings. What goes around, comes around. She will always be in your head and in your heart just like my Mom. That´s a good feeling. Sorry for your loss. Good to know such a caring, thoughtful co-worker and daughter.

I am saddened to hear of Jackie´s passing. She will be sorely missed my many. She was certainly an example of perseverance and strength! I was hoping to see her again soon racing through the hospital halls. She touched so many lives, more than I think people realize. We will miss you!

Jackie was such a beautiful lady, she was always happy to see me always asked how my two boys were! I can remember going Uncle Gord and Aunt Jackie as a child you remember all the kids you had to play .One time we there and no sure how it was to take a picture . Us kids get on the picnic table and that min.9 +3 means table back in half .And the family for one of the Welland bunch.
