Jacqueline Theresa "Jaci" Fusco

Jacqueline 'Jaci' Theresa Fusco Lebanon resident with enthusiasm for her career as a dog groomer, Harley rider, concert-goer, and sidelines fan at her son's games, 46 Jacqueline (Jaci) Theresa Fusco, 46, of Lebanon, N.J., died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Jaci was born on Jan. 19, 1971, in Belleville, N.J. She lived in Cedar Grove, N.J., until 1976, when the family moved to Clinton Township, N.J. Jaci attended the Clinton Township schools and graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 1989. She attended and received an associate's degree from Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. and began working at Ferrera Foods in New Brunswick, N.J. She worked at Ferrara Foods for many years, making lifelong friends. In 2002, Jaci followed her passion for dogs, earned her grooming license and began her career as a dog groomer. She worked most recently at the Sudsy Pup in Lebanon and enjoyed her new career, her wonderful dog and human clients and her co-workers. Jaci loved to entertain her friends and family, she enjoyed holidays immensely and loved going to concerts. She was a loving and devoted Mom who adored her son and cheered him on from the sidelines at football and basketball games. Jaci was the best sister and a "best friend for life" to her sister Gina. She was the "Cool Aunt Jaci" who would ride her Harley to her niece's field hockey games and attended all dance recitals and cheerleading competitions. She was the best friend who went to concerts, watched cheesy horror movies and crazy shark movies. Jaci is survived by her loving parents, Jean and Gerald Fusco of Tewksbury, N.J.; her devoted son, John Gerald; her sister, Gina Hand, her brother-in-law, Kevin Hand, her nieces, Riley and Charley, her Aunt Gloria, Aunt Lynda and Uncle Jack, her dog, Claymore, many aunts, uncles, cousins and family members and dear friends. Jaci is also survived by the love of her life, Lonnie Ball, who loved and cherished her for four years. With Lonnie, Jaci found true joy riding her Harley Davidson and she truly embraced the lifestyle. She is also survived by her best friend, Heidi Wagner Rowe, who never left her side, and her childhood friend, Beth Granfield Redd, whom she shared a friendship with for over 40 years. Jaci was a sweet and kind soul who made friends wherever she went. She was brave, fearless and selfless. She never complained or felt sorry for herself, even as her health deteriorated. She faced all obstacles great and small with a smile on her face, a fantastic sense of humor, and an intoxicating laugh. Jaci will forever be remembered for her loyalty, friendship, beauty and an infectious laugh that could be heard and felt for miles. Jaci is greatly missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 59 Main St., High Bridge, N.J. Interment will be private.
