Jacqueline K. Ierardi

Jacqueline K. Ierardi, of Holbrook, passed away November 1, 2018, at the age of 79. Born, raised, and educated in Boston, Jacqueline was a resident of Holbrook for 39 years. She worked as a teacher at Gate of Heaven School in South Boston and Cardinal Spellman High School for 35 years. Jacqueline was also a longtime CCD administrator at St. Michael's Parish in Avon. She enjoyed reading and dance. Beloved daughter of the late James A. and Margaret (DeVaney) Ierardi, she was the loving sister of Margaret Vogel of Holbrook, Patricia Ierardi of Randolph, and the late James A. Jr., Robert, and Joseph Ierardi; longtime companion of the late John B. Taverna; dear cousin of Lawrence Sullivan of Md. Also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 25 great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 127 So. Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook, on Friday, November 9, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church in Avon, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 8, from 4-8 p.m. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Avon.
