Diane Smith
March 16, 2019
Jacquie is fondly remembered by Diane and Sandra Smith of Vancouver Island. She was a life long friend of our mother Catherine Flett (now deceased). They met during their nurses training in Quebec City and stayed in touch throughout the years. Jacquie and Mum visited my home for lunch in their seventies and I have pleasant memories of walking in the garden with them. Jacquie identified a shrub for me (flowering quince) and also brought me a hummingbird feeder. Sandra has her own special memories of Jacquie. Our condolences to those who have lost her.

My darling Jacquie. I love you so much. You were not only my aunt, but also my godmother. You often told me how you were present at my birth, and told me how I did everything correctly. L will always love you Wish you were still among us, but hope you are with your brothers and sisters who have passed before you and that I will have the pleasure of seeing you again some day.
