Jacqueline Whiteley Obituary
With heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Jacqui, beloved daughter of Janet (nee Lawrie) and Vic Whiteley (deceased 8 months). She will be lovingly remembered by sisters, Jennifer (Mike) and Joanne George (Darrin); nephew Shepherd, aunts and uncles Don Lawrie (the late Pat), Marg and Ed Bell, Chris and Rob Trought, Karen Hicks; cousins Deanna, Sandra, Pete, Sara, Alex and Craig and extended family John and Eloise. Predeceased by doting grandparents, Hi and Peggy Lawrie of Markham. She demonstrated compassion and empathy for others at all times. Jacqui was grateful for special assistance from January, Jen and June. Her little dog, Lily who kept her comforted for 13 years, will be welcomed by "cousins" Sunny, Pippi, and Buck at Sunny Acres in Haliburton. The family will receive visitors at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Rd), Markham on Friday, May 5th at 1 p.m., service to follow at 2 p.m. Jacqui would be proud of any donations in her memory to the Sickkids Foundation which was still very dear to her heart. Good drugs kill pain. Some drugs kill our vulnerable loved ones. Beware, be smart, be safe. Rest in peace my dear.
