JACQUELYN RUTH GORMAN June 14, 1931_Nov. 9, 2004 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Jacquelyn Ruth Gorman after a courageous battle with cancer. At Jacquie's request, a funeral service will not be held. Jacquelyn was predeceased by her father Harry Raymond Thomas and her husband Dr. Frank Gorman. She leaves to mourn her mother, Helen Thomas, her six children, Tom (Joan), Peter (Lorna), Susan (Wes) Fawcett, Cathy (Larry) Mumford, Jamie, Jonathan (Lisa), as well as twelve grandchildren, Josh, Paul, Kyle, Tyler, Bryce, Connor, Alex, Samantha and Taylor Gorman, Carly, Graham and Amy Fawcett; and cousins Jane Prior, Pat Stewart, Audrey Neufeld, and Marvin Gould. Jacquie spend her early years in Toronto. She graduated in nursing from Toronto East General Hospital on June 14, 1952. While she was working at Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital she met Frank Gorman. They were married on March 7, 1952. Shortly after they moved to Regina. Her interests centered around family and friends. Hobbies included needlepoint, sewing, bridge, cooking, entertaining and golf. The family enjoyed their cottage at Katepwa Lake and in recent years Frank and Jacquie enjoyed their home in Sun City, Arizona. Graveside observance for family members only will be held Friday at Katepwa with Rev. Henry Friesen Officiating. Condolences may be sent to 2010 Wascana Greens, Regina S4V 2K8.
