Jade Lofton Obituary
Jade was born in Jackson, Miss. on November 4, 1987 and was a 2006 graduate of South Walton High School in Santa Rosa Beach where she was the captain of the cheerleading team her senior year. Her passion was dancing. She was a born leader and an inspiration. Her infectious smile and spirit will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her fiancée, Smith Murray of Destin; her mother, Joni Langdon of Santa Rosa Beach; her father, Robby Lofton of Carthage, Mo.; four sisters Sydney Herrington, Chrysyde Lofton, Gwynyvyr Lofton, and Sarah Lofton of Magee, Miss.; and one brother Emmanuel Lofton of Magee, Miss. She is also survived by her grandparents, Elaine and Clarence Soelman of Pearl, Miss.; and Margie and Woody Langdon of Greenville, Miss.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and by hundreds of people who knew and loved her.
A memorial service was held May 9, 2008 at Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.
Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
