Jaime Thompson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 2, 2024.
Jaime Joelle Thompson, born on October 29, 1969 of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on April 12, 2024, in San Diego, California at 54 years of age.

Jaime had a wonderful sense of humor, was sharply witty, and enjoyed a good debate. She found joy in making things beautiful, showcasing her talent in arranging flowers, home decor, and creating exciting adventures for her beloved kitties, Chappo, Sophia, and Trixie. The kitties have found their forever homes in Tucson. Her favorite color was red, and she found hearts everywhere. The beach held a special place in her heart, where she found solace in watching the waves dance and the sandpipers along the coast.

She is survived by her mother, Alexis Thompson; twin sister, Demetria Zwierzynski; brother, Jon Spelbring; and sister, Cara Laird.

Memorial services will be privately held with family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cat Rescue House, San Diego, at https://rescuehouse.org/.

The Affordable Funeral Solutions is assisting with the arrangements for Jaime Thompson.

I just learned of my niece Jaime's passing. She was a sweet, funny girl who made the best of the hand life and circumstances dealt her.

I just discovered Jaime's Obituary. She would have been 55 four days ago. I never got to know her very well, but I do wish to offer the family my sincerest condolences.

She saw light and hope in the face of difficulties; Joella as she wished I called her was humourous and an encourager.
