Jalicia was my niece, her mother is my sister. My niece she will always be in our hearts. Jalicia was a blessed child.I can see her smiling face making others happy if they are sad. God has her in the palms of his hands now. I can truly say she is a little angel. She is one of "God's Angel". I ask the Lord to keep watch over my sister and I ask that you keep praying and giving her all the support she will need. I know Jalicia is Looking down on her mother who she loved so much.
She may be gone from here but she will always be an Angel in our lives.

A message from Jalicia to her dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

When I began dating Jalicia's older cousin Antonio 4 years ago, I heard a lot about her from him and his mother; which was her Aunt Jackie. I finally met Jalcicia for the first time during Christmas of 04'. She stuck under me all Christmas night and we held conversations as if our 10 year age difference didnt matter. She was so sweet and friendly, I just fell in love with her. I remember phoning my mother that night and telling her that I found a new friend. Last holiday when Jalicia came down to visit I had just had a baby, and each time her baby cousin cried she would make it to the bassinet before I could to see what was wrong. Jalicia was such a joy and will continue to be in our memories and in the presence of God.
Her spirit lives on.
Love ,
Shakerria, and you baby cousins Kahlik and Jaiya

I know Jalicia and her mom from several years back when I was an assistant at Southside Elementary School. Jalicia was a sweet and a well mannered child and the apple did not fall far from the tree for her mom is also a sweet person. God has definitly gained a precious flower in His garden. I will always remember this child and hold her dear to my heart, until we meet on the otherside
Love you,
Mrs. Pennington

My name is Lynne Flournoy. I am formerly from Sandersville, Georgia, but I now reside in Milledgeville, Georgia. I met Jalisa while teaching at Southside Elementary School and Eagle Ridge Elementary School. I was saddened to learn of her sudden passing away. She was a very, very sweet girl. Her mother was very supportive of her education and visited the school quite often. I saw Jalisa a few months ago and talked with her about how much she had grown and how she was doing. Jalsia will indeed be missed. Her unforgettable smile will always be remembered. You remain in my prayers.

I was one of Jalicia's 5th grade teachers and am extremely sad about her passing.

She and I used to enjoy seeing who could make the most free throws at the after school program. I always enjoyed her spunk and smile.

You will be missed by many.

I work with Jalicia's mom at her part-time job and Jalicia's dad would often bring her by when it's close to time for her mom to get off work. Whenever I was working, Jalicia would always come up to me and she would make sure she would speak to me and sometimes hold a short conversation. She was very sweet, respectable and mannerable. I'm gonna miss her.
