James Amabile

James "Jimmy" P. Amabile, a cherished resident of Aurora, Illinois, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on August 17, 1965, Jimmy was the beloved son of the late Ralph and Mary Ellen Amabile (Shortall). He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his devoted wife, Heidi, his cherished children, Nicholas and Alexis Amabile, and his dear stepdaughter, Isabella Zulas. He is also survived by his loving sister, Nancy, and is fondly remembered by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Jimmy was a man of many talents and a heart full of warmth. Known for his infectious sense of humor, he brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. His passion for music and sports was evident in every aspect of his life, and he was admired for his intelligence, charisma, and wit. Jimmy's presence was a source of light and happiness, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Memorial Mass to honor and celebrate Jimmy's life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Domitilla Church, located at 4940 Washington Street, Hillside, Illinois. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and to share in the memories of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.

Jimmy's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know the real him. May he rest in peace.
