James Franklin Atwell, 84, passed away on August 8, 2025, in Wheeling, WV. Born on November 11, 1940, James was known for his unique sense of humor and his unwavering dedication to his family, which remained his priority throughout his life.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ginger. He is survived by his daughters, Anita Boston and Debbie Holmes; son-in-law, Dan Boston; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him deeply.

A small private gathering will be held to honor James. His life was a testament to the love and devotion he had for his family, and he will be remembered for his distinctive humor and strong family bonds.
