My condolences to the Bartlett family.

I had the pleasure of meeting and sharing a meal with Mr. Bartlett and his wife at a function held in the Synovus building for the Bo Bartlett Art Center. Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett were wonderful company and regaled me with tails of Bo's childhood, Mr. Bartlett's role in WWII and early Columbus.

My condolences to the Bartlet family on your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Mr. Bartlett a couple of times when he visited the newspaper during my tenure there. On one occasion he brought a magazine article about his son, Bo, to show me. I was touched by his pride and joy in sharing this. Rest well, Mr. Bartlett.

Sincerely
