To the family and friends of Jim Birney, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jim's passing at the West Tech Home Page online. Jim and I were friends at West Tech back in the 50's. I've always remembered him as a good friend and a talented stage actor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dearest Nerice, We were so sorry to hear about your loss of Jim. He was a wonderful man who gave much of himself to others.
Rest eternal grant to Jim, O Lord;
And let light perpetual shine upon him.
May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
Through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
With deepest sympathy, Benno & Barbara
