James Herbert "Jimmy" Bottorff

James H. Bottorff "Jimmy", age 57, was born May 10, 1961. Jimmy peacefully went to sleep at home and joyfully woke up in heaven on November 20, 2018. Jimmy is preceded in death by is father, Edward Eugene Bottorff; mother, Eileen Frances Bottorff and grandson, Karl Lathan Horn. He will forever be loved by his wife of 27 years, Robbie Jo Bottorff; his six children and their spouses: daughters, Kylie Jo, Karli Michelle, Andria Battle and Amber Ramirez and Timothy Alvarez; two sons, Kaden Wayne Bottorff, Joshua and wife, Christi Roades.  He is also survived by his two brothers, Edward "Buddy" Bottorff and Rick Bottorff; his sisters, Brenda and husband, Mark Orlis, Cindy Jaye, Debra and husband, Mike Anthony; grandchildren, Maleah and Micah Olvera, Taylor, Carl and Brantley Roades and many nieces and nephews. Jimmy was born and raised in the Houston area most of his life. After school he went into the field of graphic sign work. He truly enjoyed his work and the challenge of a difficult project. He loved baiting coworkers into a challenge to make them truly be the best they could be. He loved playing basketball, fishing, camping and being a prankster. The Houston Texans were his favorite sports team.  However over the years the others were the Oilers, Astros, Rockets and the Comets. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 noon. The visitation and service will be held at The Church Triumphant, 1030 Strawberry Rd., Pasadena, Texas 77506. Arrangements have been entrusted to Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
