Stella Junge Lane

Graveside services for Stella Junge Lane, 76, of Lufkin, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2005, in the Homer Cemetery, with Bro. Shane Wiggins officiating. Mrs. Lane was born September 2, 1929, in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of Hollis L. and Lola (Traweek) Junge. She passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005, in a local hospital. Mrs. Lane was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was retired from Wal-Mart, and had resided in Lufkin all of her life. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Carol Douglas and Carolyn Lane of Ramona, California and Nathan E. and Linda Cayton of Lufkin; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lane was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Lane and Gerald C. Cayton. Pallbearers will be Scott Cayton, Gerald Cayton, Gilbert Artechi, Scott Cook, Larry Joe Taylor and Jeromy Burnette. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Bustamante, the staff of Castle Pines Health & Rehabilitation Center and the staff of Woodland Heights Medical Center for the care given to Mrs. Lane. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at the Family Funeral Care funeral home.
