So saddened to hear about the passing of Captain Jim and our deepest condolences go out to his family. Jim was the captain of our boat here in St Petersburg. We had many great and safe trips with him at the helm. Rest in peace Captain. Easy winds and trailing seas.

Jim, we never did get out on the Florida waters together. Derek and I regret we never made that happen. My last memory of being with you was at our friends wedding in Italy. We laughed a lot and it was so nice to have you drive me around! When I think of you I will always smile and remember how much joy you brought to those around you. Rest in peace as you captain your vessel on the sparkling ocean in heaven, until we meet again ~Nikki and Derek Kaloust

We had a lot of great memories together, the time I met Jimmy, He introduced me to Max,, His doberman,He found wandering around,He went to the store and bought a package of hotdogs,and started to feed him,and that was the beginning of a new friendship, and also for us. God bless love you. Justine

Dearest Berube Family, I can only imagine how devastated you all are. Especially you Dick and Claire. I´m so sorry for your loss. Jim was awesome, always helpful, always happy, always kind, always friendly, always positive. I look back fondly at my time working with all of you. At Berube RV, and at the Tool Rental. Great memories. I will always cherish those memories and I will always miss Jimbo! Prayers for all of you.

So many memories of me and Uncle Jim over the years from his house in plaistow New Hampshire to visit him in Florida I will miss him dearly love you Uncle

Jimmy was much more than a cousin to me. He was a dear friend who always made me smile and often laugh until it hurt. I was blessed to have spent so much time with him here in Florida. Saying I will miss him is a huge understatement! Love you Jimmy!

"Uncle" Jim (and for a short time) his bulldog "Big" were regular celebrities at my house. He was very kind to my wife and me and my 3 kids. Everything was like an adventure with him. It's was always great to spend time with him as little as it was over the last few years. Such a positive attitude and a great example of a great human being. We love you Uncle Jim and will miss you. Until we meet again.

We have very fond memories of Jim. We particularly remember the dinner that we had with him and his parents in Naples many years ago, around the time that he became a charter captain.
Jim was a great family man and we will sorely miss him.

Jim you will be missed by many. You were one of the most caring clever people i have ever meet. I often told people if i had to be stranded on island and could only pic 5 people to accompany me to survive, Jim you were my first pic. Many you rest in peace
