James Carver Obituary
James owned a commercial air conditioning business before retiring and moving to Melbourne 3 years ago.
James was a decorated US Army veteran serving two tours in Vietnam, with medals including; Airborne Wings, LRRP Wings, Combat Infantrymans Badge, Ranger Tab, Purple Heart, Bronze Star and many others. He was a sniper who served with the 9th Infantry and the 24th Infantry. He belonged to the American Legion and enjoyed fishing and gardening in his free time. More than anything, James adored and cherished his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosalie Carver; son, James Robert (wife, Dana) Carver of NJ; grandchildren: Aidan and Lily Carver of NJ; sisters and brothers-in-law: Joanne(Louis) Palasak and Terrie(Ferris) Modawar; as well as many loving nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and loyal, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project: woundedwarriorproject.org
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday (11/8) at 11AM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial with military honors.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you, Take comfort knowing Jim truly loved and cherished his family. We will miss him greatly and wish he could share just one more "True Story" with us. He was a generous, giving man with a huge heart not to be forgotten.

All my memories of Uncle Jimmy made me laugh and there are so many. He was such a family man and made us all feel so important. Every time little Jimmy would laugh he reminded me so much of his father. Most of my memories are as a child but feel like it was yesterday. I was proud to have him as an uncle and Aunt Rosie as a Godmother. Thank you.

I have so many memories of growing up with my Uncle Jimmy. Summers, holidays, long weekends. He was nothing but loving and so much fun. Never a dull moment!! I will miss him very much. Love you uncle Jimmy.
