COPPERSMITH JAMES D.
Age 65, on Wednesday, October 6. Son of the late Sally and Sam Coppersmith. Beloved and cherished by his family, Laurel Coppersmith, Rachel, Ami, and Julie Adler, Toby and Susan Myers. and Carol Greene, along with a host of friends across the country who considered him family. Jim had a long and distinguished career as a real estate broker, specializing in retail leasing, most recently with Coldwell Banker in Orlando, Florida. He was a gentle, kind, and generous person who mentored many people over the years. Services at PISER FUNERAL SERVICES, Skokie, IL on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 12 Noon. Visitation one hour prior to services (11 AM - 12 Noon). Interment at Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights, IL. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA. 15237, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC. (412) 621-8282.

Many of us in the Real Estate industry in Orlando just found out about this. We are all very saddened and enjoyed working with Jim so much! I am so sorry for your loss.

Laurel, I am so sorry to hear about Jimmy, he was a great guy, and I was so sad to hear about his passing. Wish I could have been there for you and your family. He was admired by many in our industry and will be missed. Had I known of course I would have been there for you. Best to you and your family as you remember the great times in Chicago and Pittsburgh.
