Wow! I am in shock to hear this very sad news about Jamie! Jamie you were one of a kind and there is not one of us out there that can say you didn't teach us something about life, whether it was big or small. You always said to me live one day at a time and to the fullest. I hadn't see Jamie in a lot of years but I was a Shanigan Lake bum and we did do a lot of parting together and ate his amazing meals. Jamie I will miss you, RIP! Until we meet again! Thoughts and prayers are with your family. So sorry for your loss! Hugs to you all!

Even though I had not seen Jamie in many years I can very vividly see and hear him. You were a significant friend in many of our lives and I thank you for the great memories. Your spirit lives forever !!!

So very sorry to hear of Jamie's passing. He was a dear friend from my youth. I remember one camping cooking attempt at Polynesian chicken which unfortunately exploded and then, after some judicious cleaning, became a delicious stew.

It is with great sorrow that I hear of Jamie's passing. When my family moved to Shawnigan Lake, he was one of the first persons I met. Always made you feel welcome. We spent many, many hours together, had a lot of laughs, he had a great spirit. Will be missed,RIP Jamie. xxoo.

Very sad to learn Jamie, as he was called when we were young, had passed away. I remember fun times at Shawnigan Lake where we both grew up and hanging out with Jamie and Rodger Carr. Rest in Peace until we meet again.
