James Leo Davlan

I loved working when Jim was our respiratory therapist. He knew it all. Plus his sense of humor. If we were having a rough time, he would show up and lighten the day. So many jokes. On my floor, AMCU, we had some ancillary personnel. There was one, I don´t know how he was hired or even what he was supposed to do, but he had trouble with people´s names. He could not pronounce my name. He decided to call me Myrene. Jim went way too far with this, he would call out "MYRENE?" or some other variation of the name. The few times I talked to hm in thee last few years, he would say it again. We also had a friend, Ron, that he let me know how things were until he died. I´m glad that Ron had him as a good friend. I will always remember Jim. Thank you Deb and all of Jim´s family, good memories to all.

Debbie and to all of Jim´s family, I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you all. Jim had a great sense of humor, great teacher and friend.

Grateful to have crossed paths with him as a child and as an adult. Condolences to the family.

Always a part of my life, Uncle Jim had a quick wit and a gift for laughter. He was the one cracking jokes in the middle of the crowd, making life more fun just by being in it. He loved his family deeply-especially his daughter Lindsey and her family, his son Jeff, and his loving partner Deb. The love and loyalty he showed my mom is something I admired. His humor and big heart are the things I´ll miss most. Life won´t be the same without him.
