James DeYoung

De Young, James Hudsonville James Allen De Young, age 56, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12, at his home in Wayland, Michigan. He was born May 31, 1962, in Hudsonville to Anna Jean (Pat) De Young and Robert Jennings De Young, and preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pamela. Jim will forever be remembered as a loving, funny, caring friend, brother, uncle, dad, grandpa & great grandpa. Jim was the youngest of eight and survived by his six siblings, Jacquelyn Sue VanKoevering, Robert Kent De Young, Patricia (Dave) Glerum, Marcia Jo De Young-Kerschner, Terri Lee De Young, Bennett John De Young; many nieces, nephews and cousins; his daughters, Jessica Ann De Young and Jamie Rose (Larry) Maurer, his grandchildren Dezert Rose, Izaac Michael, LJ, Ethan Alexander, Jozeph Daniel, Rose Marie, Ashtyn James, Ezekiel Roy Peter, Mozes James Henry; his great granddaughter, Paisley Rose (Dezert). Family and friends are invited to services at Forest Grove Cemetery on Gordon St. Hudsonville, MI 49426 on Monday, May 20, at 5:00 P.M. with a celebration of Jim's life to follow at Spring Grove Park, 1800 Greenly Street, Grandville, MI 49418 from 5 to 9 P.M.
