Dr. James Eaves was one of my favorite Professors at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He became a dear and trusted friend. His impact on my life was great and I will forever be grateful that God allowed our paths to cross. He was a winner of souls and a great preacher of the Word of God. May God comfort his family in their loss and Heaven's gain.

Dr. Eaves served our church for a few years of his long and successful career. We became personal friends as well as our pastor. He will be missed in both categories. He told interesting stories of his life and trips to the Holy land. May .his family be blessed as he was. Lloyd and Marilyn
