James A. Filosa Jr. of Reading, May 28, 2013. Beloved husband of Barbara Ann Intravaia Filosa and devoted father of James John Filosa. Loving son of John and Maryann Morris and the late James A. Filosa Sr. Brother of Danielle Filosa Bentley, Son-in-Law of Domenic C. Intravaia and the late Barbara Ann (Dascoli) Intravaia and Jamie was a cherished nephew, uncle and brother-in-law. Funeral Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 9 AM from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) READING followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut Street, Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial will be in Woodend Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions in Jamie's memory to the Esophageal Cancer Action Network, P.O. Box 243, Stevenson, Maryland 21153 or www.ecan.org. Jamie I can´t imagine how hard this time must be for your loved ones. We were friends for a few short years, our boys playing hockey together, becoming buddies off the ice, and playing together. I can sincerely say you are one of the kindest people I´ve ever met and I was looking forward to being your friend for years to come while our boys grew up. Your loss was one of the hardest hits I´ve ever taken. May the good Lord watch over your loved ones while you Rest In Peace. I´ll never forget you my friend.
