Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Meadowbrook First Baptist Church, 6600 Ellis Road. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at the funeral home.
Survivors: Wife, Rhonda Foster; children, Shawn Foster and Tryphosa Dean; brother, Blant Foster Sr.; sister, Mabel Thomas; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

After 7 years I still think of Jimmy often. Kidding me at work and partying with him. He was a funny, kind man and I will always miss him being a part of my life for so many years.

i know we will all miss him but you got to rember that this is good buy for now but not forever . you got to rember that he hated to leave us today in this way but not so sad to say that he is reunited today with those he loved that where lost but rember that he will always be in are mind and are hearts. but the thing we will keep in are hearts are the joyous memerioes that remind us pf him the good not the bad and rember he will always love and will miss us

Shawn,Sorry of the loss of you Father and Jennetter of the loved one. My prayers are with the both of you. Your Father is is heaven on the streets of gold dancing, singing, and praising with the Lord! If yall need anything please don't hesitate to call and let me know what yall need!Your Father is with you in your heart cause you miss him I've been there about 8 years ago i lost my Father.
