GRADY JAMES STRAN
57, Sewickley, PA, formerly of Johnstown, died November 7, 2009 at his residence. Born January 12, 1952 in Johnstown, son of Dr. James W. and Mary V. (Stran) Grady. Preceded in death by parents, aunts and uncles. Survived by wife, Carol (Matysiak) Grady, Sewickley; sister, Patricia (Grady), married to Brooks C. Gentzel, St. Louis; and numerous cousins. He was a 1970 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and a 1974 graduate of Juniata College. He worked as a certified financial planner for 20 years. Friends received 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, at FRANK DUCA FUNERAL HOME, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Westmont, 11 a.m., Thursday, Very Rev. Paul E. Turnbull, V.F. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.

What a great person Jim was. Jim was our financial advisor for many years and when Jim would come to our house to do business we had some great times. My first impression when I met Jim was that he was a very honest person and would not sale you something that he would not sell to his own family. He will surely be missed. Our sympathy to you and your family.
