James Edward Hack, Jr. passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was 79 years of age and the beloved husband of the late Janice Walsh Hack.
Born in Philadelphia, he was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr., and Elizabeth DeHans Hack, as well as his brothers, Jackie, Bobby, Johnny, and Joey, and his surviving siblings, Billy, Timmy, and Betty Hack.
Jim was a longtime resident of Philadelphia before moving to Southampton in 2017. He was the owner and operator of Summerdale Decorators in Philadelphia for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy (Seabees). In his leisure time, Jim was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore and Sullivan County, Pa. He will be sorely missed by all who came to know him.
Jim is survived by his loving children Suzanne Bartley and her husband Michael, Tricia Creneti and her husband Ralph, and Jimmy Hack III and his wife Kelli. He is also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren, Michael, Abby, Katie, Nicky, Jimmy, Julie, and Emily.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at the Fluehr Funeral Home, 864 Bristol Pike (Rt 13) Bensalem, PA 19020.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Jim’s memory to Autism Cares Foundation 816 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.
