I worked as Jim's helper in the late 80's. He had a big impact on me as a person. I learne a lot from him and he is a big reason I stayed in the electrical trade and got my electrical license. I will never forget him. We had many good conversations. God Bless.

Jim,
How blessed I am to have known you and Reggie. The two of you are a true love story that has its happily ever after. May God wrap his loving arms around your family as they mourn your passing. I can only hope peace can be found knowing you and your beautiful Reggie are reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I knew Jim since the 1960's. Many times as a teenager I worked as his helper on projects and was always in awe of his god given talents. During the early 1980's I bought the business, Electric Service. Jim was technically an employee at that point. However I always saw him as my partner and team mate. He is one of a handful of people that I could talk about for hours, with zero negative to say. In summary Jim was larger than life, to Electrical work what John Wayne was to Westerns. Jim taught me many lessons over many years. God Bless the Hamby family as Jim loved his family!
