It was a privilege and a pleasure to spend many hours with Jim in the EMC recording studios working on a great variety of projects over the years. We all appreciated knowing him and and extend our sympathies to the Hautman family.

Holly and family,
We were blessed to have run into your father a couple of months ago at church. We always enjoyed visiting with him and he was always eager to share with us that he too lived in North Dakota at one time. Our fondest memories of your parents are that for a period of time in our lives, we seriously think our son, Corey, actually thought he was part of the Hautman/Reynolds clan. Your parents had plenty of children and grandchildren of their own, but I think anyone who spent time with them, felt like they too were part of the family.

To all of you! You are a lovely family and I miss that so much! You all should be so proud of yourselves because your wonderful mom and dad taught you all to be good people and take care of each other. Jim was so loving to your mother and giving to everyone around him. I was so sad to hear of his passing, my prayers are with all of you. jane glaze (Hautman)

Grandpa, I have great memories of enjoying my time with you from a kid to an adult. From the time you taught me how to fish using a net and the time I taught you how to fish "with out a net". From the time I was old enough to have a martini with you, olive, onion, olive onion. From the times we like to to cheer and complain about the Vikings. And all the great e-mail jokes we exchanged. I will miss you greatly and a day will never go by with out thinking of you.

To the entire Hautman family,

I was so sad to hear about Jim. Just being through this I have an idea of what you all are going through. He will sure be missed as I always enjoyed his quick wit and great sense of humor. He and Dad can now have cocktails together and tell fish stories forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Bonnie,

Heartfelt sorrows from your "across the street at Sibley Court" friends --- the Brown family. I know how much my dad will truly miss seeing your dad every day. Your dad was his best friend in the neighborhood. Hugs and lots of prayers to you and your entire family.

The two things about my friend, Jim Hautman, that will always be remembered in my mind is how great his children were and are and when Jim would say at coctail time, "I have to fire up me pipe and have my gimlet"

To Jim's Family,
I am so sad to hear the news. He will and already is greatly missed. I miss his visits on Tuesdays! He always made me laugh. He always brought up his family and how great all of you were. Most of all he talked very highly of his wife. I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you!
