James Healey Obituary
He attended Scranton Technical High School and went on to serve his country with pride in the United States Army beginning in 1977. His military service reflected the strength of character and commitment that defined his life.
Jim was known for his charisma and quick wit. A devoted fan of the New York Yankees, he also found great joy on the golf course. Whether sharing stories with friends or enjoying a peaceful round of golf, he approached life with enthusiasm and warmth.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Alma Connors; his son James P. Healey and wife Dana of Scranton; his daughter Amber Healey and her significant other Nicoline of Conyngham; stepchildren Christina, Robert, and Stephanie; and six grandchildren who brought him immense pride. He also leaves behind his sister Patrice Herman of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and John "Tony" Healey; his brother Sean Healey; and stepson Michael Perry.
Jim's memory will live on through the laughter he inspired, the love he shared, and the legacy he leaves in those who knew him best.
May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

Alma, I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up with Jimmy in Hilltop. I lived next door to him. I was just searching for another friends obituary and I saw Jimmy's. He was so nice. My prayers are with you and your family.

Jimmy, we did not get the opportunity to say goodbye. I enjoyed all the conversations we have had on the porch throughout the years. Thank you for being like another grandfather to my two girls. Your absence will be deeply felt. RIP Brother.
