Jim and Nellie were the first to give us a very warm welcome when we first moved to White Rock. They were our favourite neighbours. My sincerest condolences to Nellie and family. May God bless them in this difficult time. We will always remember a caring and generous gentleman.
"Uncle Jim was one of the best Canadians we've met."

Our condolences to Nellie and family. Mr. Hesketh was a very friendly, out-going man and what a legacy he leaves behind, a large loving family and so many good memories.
We were made very welcome in the Hesketh home in White Rock when Jim and Connie were married (almost 29 years ago!).
A big hug for Nellie from us. Peter and Lorna

All my condolences to Auntie Nellie and all the family on the loss of Uncle Jim. He was a great uncle and welcomed me to his family on my vists to Canada. He took time out to show me around and to share his love of Canada with me. I fell in love with Canada, due in no small part to his wonderful company and warm personality. Uncle Jim was my mother's 'little brother' and she always had a special place in her heart for him even though they were far apart. She shared many stories of their growing up together and it was evident that he had charm and charisma from an early age.
With love

Fondest memories of a very dear Uncle. We will never forget our two wonderful stays with Jimmy and Nellie in White Rock in 2005 and 2006. Jimmy was a very special person and we will miss him very much.

Condolences on the death of a fine Gentleman, I worked with Jim for almost 30 years and can say that while many people suddenly become wonderful people on death, Jim managed it in his lifetime. Not that it was always a bed of roses, we had the occasional disagreement as happens in real life.
