I worked with Jim in DEA’s Office of Operations Management. He was a friend as well as a coworker and a quiet jokester. It is now safe to say we used to have crossword puzzle races and I always won. So one time he doctored the clues to trick me. It was pretty obvious but we had a good laugh about it. I will always remember him fondly. He was a pleasure to be with. May he Rest In Peace. Deepest condolences to the family.

Like to add I was on the "bent penny caper". Then in Philly. Living in Delaware, left my wife at wedding shower at mom's house. Had no idea what was going on. Later got a "bent penny" in the basement auditorium of the State Department. Strange times.

Kind wishes to Jim's family. We were contemporaries in the the early days of BNDD n DEA attending basic agent class in 1971. We both worked in the NYC area.
He was a friendly, deliberative and highly skilled special agent. A good man.

Jim was a docent with my late husband at the National Cathedral. He was a gentleman and always smiling. Jim was kind to me when I visited the Cathedral docent group after my husband's death. He will be missed.
