Jim and I worked together at IDA. Jim was very kind and thoughtful. He worked hard to help people with technical problems. He was very professional but also had a great sense of humor. He helped make IDA better not only through his technical contributions but also through the care he gave to each person.

My wife and I were out of town at another funeral, and I was not able to attend Jim's memorial service. I am sorry to have missed it.

Best regards and condolences to Evelyn, Sharon, David, Brian, and the Hogue family.

Skiing at Killington. We would go up on a Friday, ski Saturday and Sunday, and drive back on Monday just like Jim said he did with his children many times.

Uncle Jim was a phenomenal man. His kindness shined through his eyes. His generosity was magnified in this world to so many. I enjoyed my visits with him when he visited Texas. He will be missed.
