Born in Sioux City, IA, on January 16, 1960, Jim dedicated eight years of his life to serving in the Army, where he cultivated a sense of discipline and camaraderie among his peers.

Jim's education journey began at Hunt School and later Odebolt High School, before he attended Piedmont College. His love for learning was evident in his continuous quest for knowledge and self-improvement.

Apart from his professional and spiritual life, Jim was a passionate artist who cherished spending time with his granddaughter, Makayla Hulsey. His artwork and creative spirit brought joy to those around him, reflecting his gentle and caring nature.

Jim was a loving husband to Sharrie Holloway and a proud father to Courtney Holloway, Caitlyn Hulsey (married to Bradley), Pyper Holloway and Cody Holloway. He was also a brother to Michael Holloway and Barbara Lafayette.
