HUNTER, JAMES C.

James C. Hunter, age 76, of Gainesville, Florida passed away on September 3, 2010. He was born in Bellingham, Massachusetts on September 28, 1933 to John L. Hunter and Amy Lois Dean Hunter.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Hunter was a retired Managing Director and Executive Vice President of Saatchi and Saatchi Worldwide, a member of V.F.W., 4 A's Advertising Group and a Bull Gator.

Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his son, James C. Hunter, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ethelmarie Hunter of Gainesville; daughter, Annemarie Roman, her husband Paul-Peter Roman of Wilton, CT; son, Andrew Hunter, his wife Claire Hunter of Darien, CT; niece, Linda Petty of Ludlow, VT; grandchildren, Olivia Roman, Emma Hunter and Conner Roman.

Services and Burial will take place in West Windsor, Vermont on Saturday, September 11, 2010. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606. Arrangements are under the care of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 N.W. 143rd Street.
