James James Obituary
Jess was born on November 24th, 1933 in Napoleon, Ohio, to Paul James and Maudie (Mitchell) James and graduated from Liberty Center High School in 1952. On September 9, 1957, he married Virginia (McVetta) James.
He was a veteran of the Korean War as a member of the US Army. After his return he spent many years operating a backhoe for Babcock's Plumbing in Napoleon, OH and as a plumber for Hyde's Plumbing in Englewood, FL. Jess never sat still as he and Virginia also built multiple houses as well as owned and operated Trucker's Paradise in Liberty Center, OH and managed the Penthouse Beach Apartments in Englewood, FL.
Jess enjoyed spending time in Florida with his friends and family and kept busy remodeling the homes that he lived in.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; his son, Ron (Kue) James, his daughter-in-law, Deborah James; grandchildren, James (Liz) James, Mariah James, Sylvia (Ross) Lew, Esther (John) Choi, and Sonya James; great-grandchildren Pepper Jordan James, Bree Lew, Kyle Choi, Evan Choi, Eleanor James-Thompson; siblings, Pauline Biddle, Alice (Harold) Spiegel, and Paul (Debbie) James. He was preceded in death by his son, James James II, grandson Jordan James, sister Carolyn Spiess, and brother David James.
Services will be held privately, and we invite you to consider supporting your favorite charity in honor of him.
